We at Riverside Fire & Rescue believe that training is one of the core principles of building and maintaining a department. In today's society, there is a constant progression of technology, making it more important than ever for firefighters and EMS personnel to stay up to date on the techniques to perform their duties. Whether career or volunteer these standards are upheld to progress the quality and performance of all personnel.
We at Riverside Fire & Rescue complete 100 man hours or more of in house training on a monthly basis, in tandem with other training programs offered by other fire departments and the Alabama Fire College. We are constantly developing skills relating to fire, EMS, and specific rescue situations.
